The Etchings of Edward Gorey, an Exhibition
Edward Gorey created over 80 Fine Art Etchings and numerous other prints during his career. Beginning in 1975, Mr. Gorey produced 65 etchings during his lifetime. Working with Emily Trevor, a local printer, Mr. Gorey would create the plates by hand and supervise the printing of the images. At the time of his death, he also left behind a number of completed printing plates which were waiting to be produced. 17 of these plates have been printed and are available through the Edward Gorey House STORE.
To celebrate this facet of his career, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, University Art Gallery will present an exhibition titled E is for Elephants, The Etchings of Edward Gorey from September 23 - November 2, 2014. For more information on this upcoming exhibition, go HERE.

Random Walk by Edward Gorey
Published in the June 1995 issue of Worth Magazine, Random Walk by Edward Gorey is a self contained story in four panels. I am not sure if this is a solid business plan, but the second panel shows a customer looking in from outside the door and the fourth shows a potential client observing the item of the week.
