Gorey Exhibition Checklist Booklet

The Society of Illustrators has produced an illustrated checklist for Something Else Entirely, The Illustration Art of Edward Gorey, the recent exhibition that that opened on October 4, 2025 and closed on February 7, 2026. 

Produced by The Society of Illustrators, the booklet lists information about the show including the lenders, curators, and a checklist of all 106 pieces of illustration art by Edward Gorey that were included in the exhibition. The center section of the booklet reproduces eighteen of the works that were on display in color. An introductory essay by Irwin Terry, one of the four curators for the show, is included in the booklet. 

The checklist was printed as a booklet in illustrated wrappers in a limited edition of 126 copies. Twenty six lettered copies were distributed to the lenders, curators and institutions who made the show possible and are not for sale. One hundred copies are available for purchase from the Society of Illustrators in New York City. This unique keepsake is sure to be a much sought after collectible in the years to come.
