Edward Gorey created a series of Christmas cards for Albondocani Press beginning in the 1970's and ending in the '80's. These cards were printed in limited editions (some were printed in editions of 400, while others were 450) and were used by the publisher for their yearly Christmas Greeting. The two most famous are Gertude Stein Decorates a Dog for Christmas, and A Future Unremembered Poet from the Seventeenth Century accepts a Chritsmas Cookie from the Great Veiled Bear. Some of these cards have been reproduced in boxed sets, but the majority of the images were only issued for use by this publisher. Shown in the photos is the complete set of ten cards. All of the cards shown have been signed by Edward Gorey on either the copyright or limitation statements.
